Fall Planting Class at Mayflower Nursery

Beautiful planters went home with each of 16 lovely BCCWC members at the end of the fall planting class at Mayflower Greenhouse in Hobart on September 21, 2017. Some brought their own containers, others purchased them there, and each person got her hands dirty to create an arrangement that was festive for fall! The evening ended with socializing over beverages and snacks.

Create Holiday Wreath or Planter

What an outpouring of creativity! 13 lovely BCCWC members and guests created beautiful evergreen planters and one lovely evergreen wreath at the holiday decorating class at Mayflower Greenhouse on November 29.

.  Starting with a plain evergreen wreath or planter, the ladies chose from lots of possible natural decorations to create a masterpiece to their individual tastes.  Varieties of winter greenery and embellishments provided a wonderful palette of options for outside planters, which could all be easily transitioned from Christmas to winter after the holiday.  Hot chocolate and hot apple cider, Christmas cookies and snacks gave the ladies a chance to socialize and admire each others' creations at the end of the afternoon.  What a nice way to start the holiday season!
